Only in America could newspapers publish two cartoons that satirize the current fracas (to use a noun of understatement) on gun control.
THE KNIGHT LIFE comic strip ironically justifies bringing a gun to a hockey game. “Dude!! Everybody want to shoot the puck!!”
PEARLS BEFORE SWINE has Rat screaming maniacally “Thoughts and Prayers!” in response to another “bad event we have to deal with.” With sarcasm, Rat’s companion says, “And here I thought we might actually do something.”
We are lucky to live in a country that allows this to happen without repercussions.
Long Live Cartoonists! And the USA.
